Theme of the month : Spring
This month has been a month of exploration around the month of Spring. We talked about different activities, likes and dislikes.
Week 5 - Spring Welcome back to School
On this particular Saturday, we talked about the Spring theme.Introducing it for the very first time, in our new school year. We then went on to do a puzzle on Spring items and unscramble spring words. It was a bit difficult for some words but we eventually had the job done. We welcomed ourselves back to school and also talked about our Spring break, the highlights and the downside to it! We made a beautiful butterfly craft.
Week 6 - Bugs and insects
This was by far the least favorite topic in the sense that, we don't like bugs that much. Not liking something doesn't mean we don't have to learn about it, so we talked about bugs and insects. We even did a topic on which one we preferred between a bee and a ladybird during our persuasive writing . Persuasive writing helps us to argue or rather convince the next person on our views. This is a good way to challenge our minds.
Week 8 - Summer activities
As our summer break is nearing. We decided to explore fun activities we can do during the summer. It might be too early but not really because we need to plan on it. So we did some riddles about summer to test our knowledge for the season. It was quite simple and didn't take much of our time. We then went on to write about our dream Summer Vacation and also made a post card to our loved one.
