In the first week, they made a booklet about themselves. making their own autobiography build self-awareness about themselves. Also, it helps the students to be more confident by sharing what they like and dislike, such as food, colors, animals and more. writing. 

                                       

In the second week , we studied more about spring. Spring is a season of renewal, bringing warmer weather, melting snow, longer daylight hours  and more insect to see. Butterfly is one of the beautiful insects.  They are often be seen resting on paths, soaking in the sun to warm up. We talked about the characteristics  of butterflies. We enjoyed coloring it and we made our own toy. 

In the third week, we had our strawberry picking challenges.  This play activity enhances cognitive development through sorting, counting, and problem-solving, while building patience and independence as this is an individual task. Students had to find the picture of each words written on their paper by picking the strawberries. And, whenever they finished their task successfully , they could get real strawberries to be used for our strawberries smoothie.  Kids were very excited knowing they will have delicious smoothie party. 

On the second Saturday of May , we celebrated Mother's day. We made our own handmade gift for our lovely mom. Making Mother’s Day gifts in school. This activity boosts the student's development by enhancing motor skills and fostering emotional connection with their mom.  The kids enjoyed a lot and they really wanted to finish their project to give it to their mother as a gift. The motivation to complete the task was really in their heart, knowing that their mom will be happy receiving their gift. 

On the third Saturday of May , we leaned more about green trees. As Summer approaching , the  temperatures are rising, and summer-like heat is arriving faster, with studies showing summers are becoming longer and hotter. We learned that  trees and plants are very important to help us survive from the heat.  To know more about them we learned the parts of the trees and it functions. To retain the information we made our art. We enjoyed it . It was fun to use glue and colorful papers. 

On the last Saturday of May , we had fun making our own stress ball toy. It was really fun to mix all the ingredients. Our DIY stress balls is a fantastic sensory activity for them. The toy provides developmental benefits like fine motor skills, while the finished product serves as a quiet outlet for stress relief and improved focus.

We started  to learn and master phonics using Jolly classroom. This lesson is very  interactive, digital platform based  and very systematic. It allows the students to read fluently and improve their spelling accuracy. We read many different short stories related to our daily life .  Most importantly, we have 2 kinds of worksheets for beginners and advanced students to encourage higher learning capacity of each students.

Our theme for the month is Spring. We also learned more vocabularies about spring. The kids love talking about spring, not only for adult but also for kids, spring is the time of renewal, warm weather more travels and exploration about the environment .

Strawberries smoothie party was fun and enjoyable . It is not only about the delicious taste of our sweet strawberries but also we learned a lot of things while preparing and making our own snack. This activity strengthening the kids fine motor skills as they measure ingredients, strengthen fine motor skills as they pour, cut, and mix, and grow their language as they talk about colors, textures, and taste.

Here are some of our the stories we enjoyed reading. We learned many things about these stories. Some of the kids love to read them again. Reading books helps the kids imagine more situation outside their home  and about the world.
